During the “44th National Congress on Operations Research and Industrial Engineering (YA/EM)” organized by Gazi University in Ankara on June 25-27, 2025, senior students from Başkent University’s Department of Industrial Engineering won third place in the YAEM Student Project Competition.

The project titled “Application of Stochastic Flexible Workshop Scheduling Problem in a Company Producing Construction and Industrial Machinery” was carried out at Pi Makina Company under the academic supervision of Dr. Tusan Derya and Prof. Dr. Kumru Didem Atalay, with Hacı Sarı as the industrial advisor, and was conducted by Bengisu Ardıç Bebek, Berna Akpınar, and Ceyda Bilgin.
